How to request deletion

OFI Anseo does not use a separate username or password. You sign in with your college email address using a one-time code. To request deletion of your personal data or to stop using the app, contact us at:

Email: admin@anseo.ie

Include in your request:

• Your full name
• Your student ID number
• The college email address you use to sign in
• Whether you want app access removed, personal data deleted, or both

We will respond within 30 days and confirm what has been deleted or retained.

What we can delete

On a valid request, we can delete or restrict access to:

• Your email address used for app login (OTP)
• App-specific access linked to your student record
• Any notes or absence reasons you submitted through the app

Deleting app access does not remove your enrolment at the college. You may still appear on staff attendance and timetable systems as required for your course.

What we may retain

Some data must be kept for legal, regulatory, or education purposes even after a deletion request. This may include:

• Attendance records required by the college or ETB
• Official communications sent to you as part of your enrolment
• Records needed for audits, complaints, or legal obligations

Where retention is required, we will explain the reason and how long the data will be kept.

Stopping use without full deletion

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Uninstalling does not delete data held on college systems. To remove or restrict your data on our servers, use the email request process above.
